Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Dander mobile application and website operated by Norn Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using Dander, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Dander is a walking and activity rewards service. Norn Digital is a company incorporated in Northern Ireland. Contact: info@danderapp.com (privacy and account requests), contact form (general enquiries).

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Dander.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
• You may not use Dander where prohibited by applicable law.

3. Service territory and local rewards

Dander is available globally unless we restrict availability in specific jurisdictions to comply with law or operational requirements. Partner rewards, shop offers, prizes, and store inventory are country-specific and may also be limited by region within a country. We do not guarantee that every reward, offer, or prize is available or redeemable in your location. Use of VPNs, location spoofing, or other location abuse to claim rewards or prizes outside your true area may result in those rewards or prizes not being awarded.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for activity on your account. You may request account and data deletion via our account deletion process or by emailing info@danderapp.com.

5. Health and step data

Dander may sync step or fitness data from Apple Health, Health Connect, or similar services you connect. You control device permissions. Dander is for general fitness motivation only — not medical advice. Do not rely on the app for health decisions.

6. Clover and in-app economy

• Clover is virtual in-app currency with no cash value unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific promotion.
• Clover cannot be sold, transferred outside the app, or exchanged for money except where a published offer explicitly allows it.
• We may change earn rates, shop inventory, pool rules, or economy settings to keep the service fair and sustainable.
• We may reverse Clover or rewards obtained through fraud, abuse, technical error, or breach of these Terms.

7. Prediction pools and staking

Where the app offers prediction pools or staking Clover on outcomes, you participate at your own discretion. These features are entertainment and gamification, not regulated betting, insurance, or investment. Rules, settlement, and eligibility are shown in-app and may change. We may cancel or adjust pools affected by errors or abuse.

8. Shop redemptions and partner offers

Redeeming Clover for vouchers or perks involves third-party businesses. Their terms, expiry dates, and fulfilment apply. We are not responsible for partner refusal, closure, or product quality except where consumer law requires.

9. Referrals and affiliates

Referral codes and affiliate programmes have published rules (step thresholds, caps, anti-fraud checks). Misuse — including self-referral rings, automated sign-ups, or misleading promotion — may result in forfeiture of rewards and account suspension.

10. Advertising

The app may show third-party advertisements (for example rewarded videos). Ad availability varies by device and region. Ad partners process data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Acceptable use

You must not: cheat step counts; tamper with the app or backend; harass others; scrape data; reverse engineer the service; or use Dander for unlawful purposes.

12. Intellectual property

Dander branding, content, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the app for personal non-commercial use.

13. Disclaimers

Dander is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims relating to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the service in that period, or (b) £100, except where law requires otherwise.

15. Consumer rights (UK and Ireland)

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect. For Ireland, EU consumer protection laws may apply. Contact us if you believe a reward or digital service was misdescribed.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk to other users, or legal requirements. You may stop using Dander at any time and request deletion of your data.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app, website, or email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Northern Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction for business users. If you are a consumer in the Republic of Ireland, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in Ireland under mandatory consumer law.

These Rewards Terms and Conditions (“Rewards Terms”) apply to prize draws, raffles, and promotional sweepstakes offered in the Dander app (“Sweepstakes”). They supplement our Privacy Policy and General Terms above. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the General Terms.

1. Eligibility

Each Sweepstakes is open only to people who enter through the Dander app in accordance with these Rewards Terms and any rules shown in-app for that prize. Sweepstakes are open to legal residents who meet the age and territory requirements shown for the specific prize. You must be at least 13 years old and eligible to use Dander in your country.

• Only one account per person may be used to enter unless we publish otherwise for a specific prize.
• Rewards, raffles, and shop inventory are country-specific. You may not enter or claim prizes outside your eligible market using location spoofing, VPN abuse, or similar methods.
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family or household members of Norn Digital and anyone involved in administering a Sweepstakes are not eligible.
• Additional eligibility limits (entry caps, sold-out states, or closed entry windows) are shown in-app for each prize.

2. Promoter

The promoter of Dander Sweepstakes is Norn Digital, a company incorporated in Northern Ireland. Contact: info@danderapp.com.

Partner prize: where a listing names a partner brand, that partner supplies the prize subject to their fulfilment terms. We are not the seller of partner goods or services unless stated in-app.

3. Agreement to rules

By entering a Sweepstakes or redeeming a Clover reward, you agree to be bound by these Rewards Terms, the General Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any in-app rules for the specific prize (together, the “Rules”). You represent that you meet eligibility requirements. We may require proof of eligibility before awarding a prize. You agree to comply with applicable law and accept our decisions about administration and winner selection as final, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

4. Sweepstakes period

Each Sweepstakes runs for the period shown in the app (launch, entry close, and draw times). Entries must be received before the published entry deadline. Late entries are disqualified.

5. How to enter

Dander Sweepstakes are designed to reward active use of the app. Entry methods are shown on each prize page and may include:

• Shop raffles — spend Clover to enter a listed prize draw before the entry window closes.
• Biweekly raffle — earn tickets through published in-app actions (such as rewarded ads within daily limits) and participate in the periodic draw described in the Games section.
• Redemptions — spend Clover to receive a voucher, code, or partner offer where published.

Clover has no cash value unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific promotion. You must have enough Clover and satisfy any per-user or inventory limits shown in-app. Automated entries, bots, duplicate accounts, or attempts to manipulate entry counts may result in disqualification and account action.

6. Prizes

Prizes are described in the app. Approximate retail values may be shown for information; actual value may differ at fulfilment. Prizes are non-transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing. No cash alternative is offered except at our discretion where permitted by law.

Taxes, delivery, travel, or other costs related to claiming or using a prize are the winner’s responsibility unless we state otherwise. For winners in the United States, we may report prize value to the IRS where required. We are not liable if a winner cannot accept a prize through no fault of ours, or if partner fulfilment is delayed or unavailable beyond our reasonable control. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value where permitted.

7. Odds

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for that Sweepstakes. Where multiple entries are permitted, each eligible entry has an equal chance of selection unless we publish different weighting in-app (which we will disclose clearly).

8. Winner selection and notification

Winners are selected at random using a fair automated process unless a different published method applies to a specific prize. We will notify winners using contact details on the account within a reasonable time after selection. Winners may need to confirm identity, eligibility, and delivery details before a prize is sent.

If a selected winner does not respond, fails verification, or is disqualified, we may select an alternate winner or withhold the prize as permitted by law. Raffle wins may appear in your in-app wallet; physical or partner prizes may require email follow-up from our team.

9. Publicity

Where permitted by law, by entering you grant us a royalty-free licence to use your username, general location (country/region), and statements about the Sweepstakes for reasonable promotional purposes without further compensation. You may opt out of publicity by emailing info@danderapp.com before or after winning, except where we are required to publish winner information.

10. Changes, suspension, and integrity

We may cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate a Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failure, or events beyond our reasonable control undermine fair operation. We may disqualify entries that tamper with the app, violate the Rules, or abuse the economy. Material changes to these Rewards Terms apply to Sweepstakes that start after the updated version is published; ongoing draws follow the Rules in effect when they opened unless law requires otherwise.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norn Digital and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation, acceptance, or use of a prize, or from partner fulfilment. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

12. Disputes and governing law

These Rewards Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, consistent with our General Terms. Disputes are subject to the courts and consumer rights described in the General Terms.

13. Privacy

We process entry and winner data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may verify entries and share limited fulfilment data with partners to deliver prizes.

14. Platform non-affiliation

Sweepstakes are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Apple, Google, Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms except where a prize description explicitly names a platform partner. You provide information to Norn Digital, not to those platforms.

CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of a Sweepstakes may violate civil or criminal law. We reserve all remedies available at law.
